My family's freight forwarding business handles air cargo shipments daily. When a flight is booked, someone needs to email the customer. When a flight lands, someone needs to send an arrival notice. When rates change, the team needs to know. All of this was running on scattered emails, WhatsApp messages, and human memory — with inevitable missed deadlines and lost revenue.
eCargoWorld replaces the chaos with a centralized system that tells each employee exactly what to do and when. Four user roles — Director, Operations Manager, Website Manager, and Employee — each see different screens with different permissions.
Director gets full access plus API flight tracking. Operations Manager manages shipments and teams. Employees see a minimalist task-focused dashboard. Each role sees only what they need.
Manual AWB entry with 7-stage status flow: Draft → Confirmed → Booked → Departed → In Transit → Arrived → Delivered. Status changeable in both directions via dropdown popup. Search, filter, edit, and delete.
Director delegates tasks with custom descriptions. System auto-creates tasks on shipment status changes. Real-time notification popup with sound for employees. Task completion with optional photo proof upload.

The dashboard design is inspired by Linear and Notion — clean, minimal, and functional. Navy (#2E3F5C) and amber (#F5A623) brand identity. Inter font throughout. Sidebar navigation, card-based data, clean tables. No decorative elements, no unnecessary animations. The design should disappear so the work gets done.
